Johnathan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba a city located in Canada! He is still in charge of the daily roles and assumes the title of lead developer for major projects here at Imusion Studio. He is proficient in many languages including: HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, Visual Basic, Turbo Pascal and has extensive experience working with the widely popular mySQL database. He also has experience in several digital art programs including: Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Paint Shop Pro.
History
Imusion Studio is the successor site of the late Pro-Talk. Pro-Talk was a forum created on the popular free remotely hosted message boards provided by ProBoards. Pro-Talk was just a general forum for people to come and chat. Graphics was a side bonus at the forum. When it was evident that many people started coming to the forum for our graphics we changed the focus slightly for Pro-Talk to be a little more graphics oriented. It was a general forum with a very hip look. Then things went south as allegations were made that we "stole" graphics from another site. Too tired after putting up a long fight with both the site and our message board provider we were forced to shut down. Then Imusion Studio was born shortly after.Imusion Studio opened its doors to its visitors on the evening of October 30th, 2003. Things started off rough as we fought to stay alive and to raise enough funds and sponsors to keep the site running. With the single focus of pleasing our users we worked hard to provide quality, free webmaster resources to our users. That strategy worked. Two years later, Imusion Studio is still a thriving webmaster resource community, no longer fighting to stay alive but to lead the next generation of webmaster resources into the right direction. On June 30th, 2006 Imusion Studio announced a merger with another popular webmaster resource site, Custom-GFX. Custom-GFX was under the lead of Yuichen, Gizzy, and Martin for its entirety. After the merger was complete Custom-GFX is now assumed under the identity of Imusion Studio. We combined the resources from Custom-GFX in a greater effort to streamline more resources for our users. We believe that by working together we can make an even bigger impact for webmasters around the world. |
