Description: Stylize your text with this liquidy looking effect.

 Step 1


 Step 2
Grab the Text Tool and type something.


 Step 3
While on the text layer Click Layer--> Layer Style--> and Blending Options.


 Step 4
Click onto Drop Shadow, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Step 5
Click onto Inner Shadow, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Step 6
Click onto Outer Glow, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Step 7
Click onto Inner Glow, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Step 8
Click onto Bevel and Emboss, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Step 9
Click onto Contour, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Step 10
Click onto Gradient, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Step 11
Click onto Stroke, and make sure the options are set to these (roughly the same to get the effect, playing around with this setting can give you different effects).


 Final Product
And your done, simple right? Below is examples of what we made with a different font type.

Just change the color overlay to a lighter one. Or just play around with the settings to adjust the effect.

Also the font needs to be somewhat fairly bold-ish.

Some fonts I used I think off the top of my head are Amaze, Final Frontier, Sargent Six Pack - in no particular order.

I have a question for the autor Do you have Mac, i see, i have photoshop elements 2.0 (Mac), if i add a Style to a Layer, i don't have the Blending Options, how i can edit the parameters of drop shadow, outer glow ecc... ecc...?  Please help me!

Hello Gatsu,

My windows is just skinned to look like a mac I don't actually have one.  But just select your current layer and either try right clicking then finding "Blending Options" or click the F symbol just a little below in the layers palette.
